This multi strand necklace features shell pearls and lampwork beads together with antique brass chain. Not a dainty pearl necklace but very striking.
The strands are made up of two rows of antique brass chain, one row of shell pearls and one row of lampwork ovals.
1st Row - the inner short row is 41cm antique brass chain
2nd Row - 16" strand 8mm shell pearls
3rd Row - 13 Lampwork ovals 19 x 11.5mm - linked together using eyepins and 2 x 9mm jumprings
4th Row - 49cm antique brass chain
The strands all have 9mm jumprings at each end and they are all connected to one 9mm jumpring (see picture) in total there are 39 x 9mm jumprings.
To finish the necklace a length of 13cm chain was attached to each central jumpring and a cotton cord bow was tied to the inner short chain.
See below for a small selection of beads that you could use to create a "Shell Pearls On Safari" necklace.
